Forbes reviewed two studies that reveal some pretty disturbing figures. One study, conducted by New Voice Media, calculated an overall $62 billion loss in business due to poor customer service—a nearly 50% increase from their findings two years’ previously. While SuperOffice attempted to dispel their previous research that 80% of businesses believe they provide excellent customer service, but only 8% of customers agree. Their subsequent study assessing 500 companies painted an even bleaker picture.
